| Abstrakt: | This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a Linux file system that preserves history of the files. This file system addresses the issues when working with sensitive files such as accidental or intentional deletion or overwriting of files. The goal of this thesis is to implement a file system that makes loss of data recoverable and gives opportunity to go back to older versions of the files. The thesis implements the system and measures memory usage and access time to different versions of the file. As a result of this thesis, the file system may be mounted and used to work with sensitive files. |
