Abstrakt:The aim of this bachelor thesis was to create a plugin for the Unreal Engine, designed to process sequences of point clouds that were captured using a 3D camera working in real-time and their subsequent visualization. The Microsoft Kinect V2 and the Photoneo MotionCam-3D cameras were used for the capture. Tools have been developed to process a camera output that provides conversion of this data to other commonly used formats. They also allow easy trimming of these sequences. In order to visualize the data processed in this way, a plug-in module was created, designed for the Unreal Engine game engine. Using this module, it is possible to playback scanned sequences in a virtual environment, while these sequences can also be edited using ready-made tools. The module provides the user with a tool for trimming the entire sequence, filtering the sequences using the functions provided by the Open3D library, and also exporting modified sequences. In the future, the collected data can be used for further research, such as the extraction of motion information or the creation of new, artificially created moving objects.
